This last weekend I got to go to Las Vegas to help my parents with a craft show! I had alot of fun...It is always work to go and help them, but we always go after the show is over at night and look around, go to dinner etc.
I flew in on Thurs afternoon. That night we went to Henderson where Curtis and Christina Young lives and had a BBQ with them. It was so good to visit with them.
Their show is actually in Boulder City which is about 20 miles away. The show gets over at 5 every night and then we go downtown.
The first night we went to the Rio. We ate at the seafood buffet there. It was realy good. We stayed around and watched the show in the sky. They have these really cool things that hang from the ceiling, like a hot air balloon, a boat, this really cool looking flower thing. People are on these things dancing and throwing beaded necklaces down to the casino below. It is really fun to watch. It is also very loud. I kinda liked it. Mom said it was too loud for her. Of course they play awesome Music that I would know!
The next night we went to the Bellagio. They have the most amazing buffet. The food is soooo good. Curtis and Christina and had dinner with us. The Bellagio also decorates this huge room for each season. The room was decorated with all kinds of real flowers, and pumpkins and cool trees etc. It had these amazing trees that were fountains. I know my description doesn't give you a good picture. I took my camera to take pictures and my batteries were dead. I was sooo bummed.
It was a good time! I love going to this show. It is kinda my Birthday present every year. It is fun to get away, but I missed my family horribly! I am glad to be home!

Dylans Court of Honor
Last week, Dylan had a Court of Honor for Boy Scouts. I was really proud of him. He earned his 1st and 2nd class and 8 Merit badges (he only got 4 that night but he had completed 8). We had to hurry right after football practice to get there. I am sure Dylan doesn't smell all that great! :) This is his scout leader Brian Bennion.
This was one of the Merit Badges that That he earned it was for Photography. Greg and Dylan went and took pictures one day this summer and Greg taught him about the camera and diffent settings and stuff. Dylan made a photography board about what he learned. I am really proud of Dylan. His goal is to get his eagle scout by 13 1/2.

A Day At Doreens!
A few weeks ago my Moms good friend Doreen invited us out to her house in Fruitland, ID for lunch. It was the week of my Mom's BIG birthday. As soon as Layci got out of school we went out there. She has the most beautiful property you have ever seen. She has a huge garden and a beautiful pond. Her yard is so pretty. She raises chickens. Layci thought they were so cute. She was having a fun time watching them and holding the baby chicks.
This is her pond. She has tons of Coy fish in her pond. They were intrigued with Layci, everytime she would come over to the edge they would swim to where she was. I think it was the bright pink lipstick myself! We sat out by the pond and ate the best homemade Salsa. It was sooo yummy!
Layci even got to pet her Bunny. I think Lala had a fun day that day. She keeps asking me when she gets to go back! Anytime Doreen wants to invite us for lunch, Im there. She is an amazing cook!
My Mom was even excited to hold the baby Chicks! Kathy, this picture is especially for you!

McKnight Broncos
This Is Dylans Football Team. They are called the McKnight Broncos. Dylan is really enjoying it this year. He is actually getting to play alot this year. I am really proud of him. He is #88. He has been playing strong safety. It has been a blast watching him this year. His team has been working really hard too.
I Did It!
I Am so proud of myself. A few weeks ago, Mom, Traci and I decided to do a little canning. This was my first time doing this. I made strawberry freezer jam last year, but I have never canned jam or peaches. It was a fun, rewarding and very messy process. It actually was alot of fun! Next year, I plan to can everything under the sun! Just kidding. Not enough hours in the day! I barely had time to do all of these. We made 64 quarts of peaches and I dont even know how much jam.
