Tricks and Treats!!!
Friday night we had our Ward Trunk or Treat. I took my neice and nephews with us. We always have this every year. It usually is a Chili Feed and then the kids do a parade and we hand out candy. It is really fun every year. This year, I couldn't believe how many people were there! It was fun.
Rylee just turned 11. She is a Vampire Princess....I thought she looked really cute.
This is Layci for Halloween trick or treating Sat. Night. Notice the difference in pictures....Friday she was Princess Belle. Sat. she was a Vampire Princess.....She is so funny!
Scary!!!!
Adorable!
My cute boys! I told Dylan that when he turned 13, no more trick or treating....Well as you can see, that worked! This is definately the LAST year! Don't they all look so scary!!!!
Halloween!!!
I made these cupcakes for Layci and Haydens Halloween class parties. I thought they turned out really cute!
I ended up making about 50 of them. The took awhile, but it was worth all the time and effort it took when the kids saw them! They were all excited to eat them.
This is Layci and her friend Lynae. All of the kids were so cute. They had a parade through the whole school. I have to say, there were some pretty amazing costumes me very creative people!

Dylan's Court of Honor
SWISS DAYS
For those of you who wondered what I do with my parents, this is it. This is one of our biggest shows of the year that we do in Midway, Ut. It is called Swiss Days. As you can see, we have a pretty elaborate set-up. It usually takes us about 8-10 hours just to set up everything. This is only a 10x15 booth space, most shows we have a 10x30.
This is with the inventory in the booth, My Dad builds and paints ALL of it with the help of my brothers and My Mom, Sister and I usually finish it, the signs, blocks etc.... It is ALOT of work!
We do custom orders, so let me know if you would like anything! Great Christmas gifts. You can also check out our website at www.giftsfromtheheart-idaho.com
After School......
Layci was soooo tired after going to school ALL day the first day that about 6:00 pm she curled up on the couch and fell right to sleep. As you can see, Taz was a little worried about her and curled up next to her. Every time I would go near her he would perk up and give me a little protective growl. It was so funny. She slept clear until the next morning!
Getting off the bus the first day of school....
First Day of School!!!
This is Dylans first day of school in 7th grade. As you can see, he didn't care if he combed his hair or not! Cute little stinker!
Hayden is in 4th grade this year. Mr. Phelps class. I love this picture! Hayden's smile looks so cute!
Here is Adorable little Layci. 1st grade this year. I can't believe ALL of my babies are in school all day long! The house is really quiet!

Fall Canning
This year I planted a garden. It was my "real" first experience with one. I think it did pretty well. I planted beans, cucumbers, canaloupe, carrots, peppers, radishes, lettuce, strawberries and tomatoes. With the tomatoes that we did get this year, which really weren't that many, we canned what we could. Layci wanted to help and it was a fun experience canning with her. She is so cute. She sure loved to peel the skins off.
Like I said, we really didn't get much but I did can 7 pint jars full of tomatoes for the winter.
My sister and I also canned peaches and made jam! I love peach jam it is my Favorite!!

Layci's New Bike
While we were at the park, we saw alot of things. Birds of course , a snake (which I hate! YUCK) Turtles and we even saw a beaver in the water. When we first got there all of a sudden a deer ran right in front of us. A DEER! In the Park in downtown Boise. Then we saw another one and a baby deer too! It was really fun and cool to see them.
I love the picture of the kids walking and holding hands. I think it is just too precious.

We were so lucky to have Grandma and Grandpa Westover come up the week Layci had her Recital. She was so excited to Dance for them. She had a big cheering section. Nana and Papa Beckman and Aunt Traci, Uncle Mark and cousins were also there to cheer her on.
Dance Recital Spring 2009
Layci had a dance recital last month ( I know I am really bad at keeping this blog up to date....Im trying!) The theme was dances around the world. The first ballet number she did was the oriental fan dance. It was so cute to see all the girls dressed up and dancing with their little fans.

A Day at the Temple!
A few weekends ago, we were able to go to Salt Lake and See My in-laws sealed in the Jordan River Temple. It was such a sweet spiritual experience. My father in-law Gene has been re-activated and decided it was time for him to finally go through the temple. It was Wonderful to see Gene and Delore, Greg and Kent (Gregs Older Brother) there. It was an amazing experience. I am so grateful and glad we were able to go and see this Blessing take place!
